We just need to find out what is wrong with ID and the Dual 867. In any event, my fonts all look normal now. Jaguar seems to handle folders now quite well. I've not had much success with Suitcase and have heard mixed reviews. I created a sub-folder outside of the Font folder for my unused fonts and I can drop them in as I need them. In the meantime, the font mess with my TI was solved by reinstalling my font library into the Library/Font folder.I dropped the folders in and voila they all work fine. However, the person who set up networking on it did not give me Administrator privies, could this be the culprit? I am at a total loss but this is the only thing different between the computers. I have no problems installing the fonts on my TI and being recognized in ID, but the Dual just doesn't see them. The two computers, the Dual 867 and the TIPB were bought two days apart and are both running Jag. Thanks everyone for trying to help out.much appreciated!! I'm even contemplating Font Reserve even though I've never liked it. Really burns me up losing production time playing with fonts. Font management has been - by far - the biggest problem I've had since switching fulltime to X.
